Levanter's strategy is to increase the value of its balance sheet through investment in commercial real estate assets, entrepreneurial asset management and risk controlled development.

This strategy involves specific focus on different market sectors and locations globally that offer the potential for enhanced returns. Levanter applies an opportunistic philosophy based on solid commercial fundamentals and a thorough understanding of the needs and requirements of the occupational markets which ultimately drive performance.

Over the last three years, Levanter has invested and managed successful projects in Germany and the UK totalling £200m. In Germany the portfolio includes well-let retail warehouses, supermarkets, logistics centres and offices. In the UK Levanter has built an investment acquisition platform that will continue to seek real estate projects where there are opportunities to add value over the medium term.

In addition to direct real estate investment, Levanter has started to invest in debt instruments - initially through the acquisition of Non-Performing Loans and the take up of mezzanine equity positions - this will be a major focus for Levanter going forward and a fund of £50m has been raised for such targets.

It is through this entrepreneurial attitude to real estate investment that we aim to produce superior risk-adjusted returns.
